The Guardian presents this list of DOs and DON’Ts for running:

  1. Do practise running lightly and quietly
  2. Don’t allow your head to bob or roll
  3. Do vary the speed of your runs
  4. Don’t avoid hills
  5. Do lengthen your stride
  6. Don’t allow your wrists to flap around
