Hacking your Sleep Patterns
October 17th, 2005
In the drive to enhance productivity, many people will pull the occasional all-nighter, or try to get by with less sleep whenever possible. Although the Sleep Experts tell us we need around 10 hours a night, people are always trying to find the holy grail of GTD hacks… how to get by on very little sleep day in and day out.
There are two slumbernauts tackling the problem from different angles: Glen Rhodes is getting by with a mere 4 1/2 hours of sleep a day in one three-hour chunk and another ninety-minute nap; Nick Busey is sleeping an inconceivable 2 hours a day (!) using six twenty-minute naps spaced out at four-hour intervals.
Both are blogging their experiences. Just thinking about this is making me tired.
