Creighton U. Med School on the Paleo Diet
July 21st, 2005
The Creighton University Medical School has a lengthy and in-depth article exploring the Paleo Diet and its positive effects on certain diseases. For those unaware, the Paleo Diet (or Paleolithic Diet, as it is also known) -like NeanderThin, is a low carbohydrate, higher protein plan.
From the article:
Because the Paleodiet may have a role to play in the prevention and/or treatment of certain diseases, a review of the facts regarding these diseases is provided. A discussion of the theory of the Paleodiet and some examples of foods follows. The final page lists arguments against the Paleodiet specifically or the general family of ‘high protein diets’.
